Lydney
Town Hall is a beautiful Victorian concert and dance hall,
situated at the junction of High Street and Church Road on
the western edge of Lydney. The town sits on the A48 Gloucester
to Chepstow road, betweenat the Forest of Dean and the River
Severn.
The
Hall has a seated capacity of just under 300 and a standing
capacity of 400, making it the perfect choice for theatrical
and musical productions, concerts, dances and corporate events.
However, the intimate nature of the venue makes it an ideal
space for events for almost any number (small events can also
be accommodated in the lounge).
The
Hall famously hosted a concert by the Beatles in August 1962
- just weeks after Ringo joined the group -and has since hosted
a wealth of notable performers, including Thin Lizzy, John
Tams and The Commitments. Successful events here have included
private parties, business presentations, pantomimes, plays
and musicals, dances and dance classes, concerts, sporting
events, public consultations and exhibitions and craft fairs.
Details
of forthcoming events can be found by clicking the months
in the left hand column and details about hiring the Hall
can be found to the right. If you have difficulty finding

team, please click
